I have not been able to put up this post the whole day because of a power black out! Yes, we are in Africa and power cuts are still a thing of the present, and sadly even the future 😦 On a brighter note, I was able to take a trip to town and see what Kenya has been enjoying behind my back. Met several awesome people who truly support music and I feel rejuvenated, that is why I’m writing this article 6.49 p.m in Nairobi 🙂 Music is such a bad drug but I encourage you, as a professional doctor, to include a dosage of it in your daily life. The best part of being an artists is the ability to make something positive from whatever situation you find yourself in. When musicians are happy, they will sing and express it in a song. If they are sad, they will still sing about it and invite you to share in their sadness too! Like right now, DSP Music is inviting us to share the pain of his heartbreak 🙂 The thing about the brother DSP, is just his all round workaholic nature. He is not slowing down and doesn’t seem to any time soon.
Its not been even a month since we introduced him on AAA and guess what, he has two other singles out already, both great records! Now that is how you become my next best friend. I will focus on one of his singles titled Carolina. To start with, I would like to think that this is the same Caro that Wizkid has been looking for. God forbid!! But if she is the one, then you are very heartless Caro. I mean, how can you disappear without a trace in Nigeria, making Wizkid to frantically search all over the world for you, only to end up in Liberia and break the heart of DSP? Why really Carolina? I’m so sad, matter of fact I will never date a lady named Caro 😦 I can’t deal with all the lies that you have been telling my brother DSP. On a more serious note, DSP reminds me of P- Square, way back in the day when they used to make such laid-back love songs. I so loove zouk music! DSP has pulled the vocals perfectly well without the slightest strain, I salute you for that! Liberian music has just found an international ambassador. Africa, let’s join hands and hearts) in consoling DSP, and maybe in the process, we can convince Caro to go back to Wizkid, No? Yes 🙂
